The altar features a round arch bordered by pilasters, above which two columns are placed, topped by an architrave.

Decorative motifs of vegetal scrolls, sculpted in bas-relief, are repeated throughout the entire decorative layout.

In the first third of the fluted shaft, in particular, each scroll starts from a phoenix head and ends with a flower, forming two symmetrical pairs of fully rounded bunches.

As an ornament to the niche basin, there are winged putto heads, among the few surviving stucco elements.
