The chapel dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie is a vaulted space with a cross vault accessed from the presbytery.
The greater wall thickness would confirm its original existence as the original core.
The room is topped by a four-sailed vault with ribs made of calcarenite blocks, partially recomposed following the restoration intervention.
Only a few traces remain of the frescoes and the altar structure placed on the north wall, whose surviving elements, found during the initial explorations and excavation, are kept at the Museum of Sacred Art of Misterbianco.
Among these is an engraved slab indicating the Madonna as the protector of the place.
Another access, still blocked by lava and partially hidden by the niche of the altar of the Madonna delle Grazie, is located on the east wall of the chapel.
